BoostT1D Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This policy explains what the BoostT1D app and website collect and how to delete it. "We" means BoostT1D. Questions go to info@boostt1d.com.

What stays on your phone

Your glucose readings, insulin doses, meals, therapy settings and reports are stored on your phone. We cannot see them unless you use one of the features below.

What we receive

When you set up the app: your name, age, gender, email, country and state, how long you have had diabetes, your parent's name and email if you are under 13, which glucose data source you use, your phone model and app version, and whether you want emails from us. We do not create an account or a password. Of this, we keep only your name, your email and your email choice, until you delete your data.

When you use Snap a Meal or the reports: the meal photo, or one week of glucose readings, events, meals and therapy settings. Your name and email are not included. It is used only to produce the answer and is not kept afterward.

Your data source logins

The app connects to Nightscout, Dexcom Share or LibreLinkUp with your own login, only to read your readings. Your password or token is stored encrypted on your phone and is sent only to that service. We never receive it.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking in the app. We share data only with service providers that help us answer your request, or when the law requires it.

Children

Children under 13 can use BoostT1D with a parent or guardian, who should complete setup with them. We use the parent's email only to contact the parent, and we do not send marketing emails to children.

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Profile and tap Delete everything. This erases your data on the phone and asks us to delete your setup information. You can also email info@boostt1d.com.

Security

Everything the app sends uses an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect only what the app needs.

Not medical advice

BoostT1D is for education and information. It is not a medical device and does not replace your diabetes care team. See our Medical Disclaimer.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and show a notice in the app when the change affects your data.
